CLANDESTINO
Famed World Music journalist Peter Culshaw goes on the road with Manu Chao to discover what drives one of the most interesting and popular musicians in the world today.
Clandestino will feature interviews with Manu and talk about his
adventures and career and philosophy - snapshots of him in action,
dealing with the people he runs into contact with - as we see how
Manu's ideas reflect the reality he finds himself in.
The voices of important ordinary people whether at La Colifata (an insane asylum in Buenos Aires), or the Repentistas of Brazil, the prostitutes of Sao Paulo or Madrid, the indigenous people of Mexico,
the buskers in Barcelona or whoever Manu runs into during his travels of 2008 will be very much part of the book as well.
